Bill, who now owns the family business Allison-McCloskey, admits that this was his most memorable moment on El Cajon Boulevard. His father, Johnny McCloskey started the business with a partner Joe Allison in 1946 on El Cajon Boulevard and Menlo and moved in 1948 to its current location at 4820 El Cajon Boulevard. The two partners settled on El Cajon Boulevard with the understanding that this is was a main highway that ran from coast to coast and one could not beat the amount of traffic that passes by day in and day out.(Click to read the spotlight)

	We invite the public to participate in the 2nd annual drive along Historic Highway 80 taking place on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at 9:00am - 2:30pm. The family road trip along nostalgic Highway Route 80 offers guests a chance to enjoy a piece of American Heritage as they "cruise" from the west at Seaport Village, proceed through 16 "Stops" and finish at Viejas Outlet Center.
